This post is part of a series where we highlight why we love the farms and orchards that host The Great Pumpkin Run. Read on to learn some cool features and facts!
We are truly thrilled to be returning to Klackle Orchards. The orchard is a mere 35 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids which makes for an easy escape for city dwellers. Located in Greenville, Klackle offers a ton of fun activities for anyone in search of an awesome day in the countryside. Here are some things to check out if you are heading to the event this October:
-Apple cider. Yep, it’s pressed right on site. When you dash through the orchard you will pass row after row of apples which are later picked then pressed. You really can’t get fresher than this!
-Klackleville. This is the name for the main activities area. Visitors can enjoy the corn maze, a coaster slide, wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, and other awesome adventures!
-Cornucopia Farm Market. The market is huge and has everything from produce, snacks, and, of course, the cider mill. Wander around inside and take in the aromas of fall: pies baking, cider being pressed, apples being dipped in caramel—you get the idea!
As you can see, there’s a ton to do at Klackle Orchards. From simply strolling the grounds to picking your own apples and pumpkins, options are endless when it comes to fall fun. Hope to see you there!
