The rumors are true, Fall is just around the corner! Are you ready? Or are you binge watching your favorite show on Netflix for the ninth time? Regardless, consider this brief list of ways to get you off of the couch and training for The Great Pumpkin Run!

Polish off your running shoes, it’s time to run! Before you hit the pavement or trail, make sure you are prepared with the correct gear!

Upbeat playlist! All great workouts begin with a great playlist. One that will pump you up and give you an extra boost of energy!

Map your run! To avoid shortcuts, create a route with your desired distance.

Practice makes perfect! Running a little bit (even 10 minutes) every day will help prepare you for a 5K.

Kick it into gear! Once you get the hang of running a little bit each day, push a little harder. Test yourself and your ability!

Invite friends! With positive encouragement, both you and your friends can benefit from running together!

Never quit! When the going gets tough, get tougher. Perhaps, grab a pumpkin!
